Early on in my photography journey, I’ve done tons of research, read lots of articles and watched a lot of tutorials. This was how I stumbled upon Click It Up a Notch. I started my first Project 365 because of that site, as it gave me inspiration and courage to try it. A while back, Courtney from Click It Up a Notch asked for submissions to be featured. And what do you know, I’ve been featured! You can find the article here. Check it out, and enjoy!

10 on 10 Blog Circle – May
So, this month’s edition fell on Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, I only have 8 pictures instead of 10. I tried, I really tried. I wish I had more exciting photos, but I wasn’t feeling that great, which led to an awesome 3 hour nap when my daughter napped. My husband surprised me with tickets to see Prince in Baltimore that night, so it took all I had to rally. But come on, it’s Prince. You don’t bail on Prince. Too bad I couldn’t take pictures in the arena. But here’s what I came up with for this month’s 10 on 10. All of these are taken with the Fuji x100t. A learning curve, but still fun to play with.
Ariya is currently OBSESSED with Frozen. After she gave me the card (for long enough to take this picture), she snatched it right back and played with it for the rest of the morning.
Cuddle time on the couch.
Morning snack.
Playtime at the park
Love those rays
Tried to take a family portrait after nap time. It was not pretty. But this will do.
Driving through Charles Town West VA, on our way to Baltimore.
Passing through Harper’s Ferry, WV. Getting ready for PRINCE!

Lensbaby Love Blog Circle – May
I have been so in love with the lensbaby velvet 56 lens. So versatile. It has macro abilities, it has this hazy soft dreamy effect. It can also be a normal lens with no effect. I think I’ve had it on my camera for 2 weeks straight.
So for this months’ edition of lensbaby love, I took this lens to Alexandria VA. I was supposed to run a 10 mile race with a friend….but I failed on training and can barely run 3 miles. So I thought I’d my camera on a walk which led me to the finish line.
